My three daughters and and I adopted two rescue chihuahua mixes 4 years ago, and we have been dog lovers ever since then. We have a medium sized fenced yard with sunny and shady spots for lounging around, playing fetch, tug-o-war, wrestling, etc. We live in a quiet, hilly neighborhood, good for walking and exploring while on the leash. There is also a nearby school with a large field where dogs can play off-leash in the afternoons. With a family of 5, there will usually be someone around the be a companion to your dog. We welcome dogs for overnight stays or day time doggie care. Because we adopted 2 adult dogs, we don't have much experience with puppies, so we prefer dogs over 1 year who are house-trained.
