This was my first time using the Rover site and leaving my 6 month pup with a sitter. After doing lots of research I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! It was so comforting to know that my pup would be in the comfort of a home and not locked up in a kennel while my family vacationed. My pup stayed with Tara for 3 days while my family visited Legoland. Since my kids couldn't part with him all night, we dropped Max off in the mornings and picked him up in the evenings. Her home is approximately 10 minutes from Legoland which was very convenient. Tara was available during the times I needed to drop off and pick up. Tara was punctual with responding to my questions and was flexible with dates, while I was trying to finalize travel details. During my pup's stay, Tara sent me pictures and a video of my dog and her dog interacting with each other. She took him to the dog park and on long walks. I felt totally comfortable leaving my pup with Tara. He never whined when I dropped him off and seemed excited to interact with Tara's dog. If I ever vacation in Carlsbad again, Tara will be my go-to sitter.

It seems like our dog, Bear, really enjoyed his 8 day stay over the holidays with Tara and her family. Tara sent us pictures of Bear nearly every day of his stay, and in each one he looked like he was having a good time. Since bringing him home a couple days ago he seems healthy and happy. We definitely plan to have Bear stay with Tara next time we leave town, and would recommend her for others looking for someone to watch their dog.
