I've had a dog my entire life and I've walked, and pet sat for neighborhood dogs throughout that time. I've learned how to deal with the most unruly of dogs including my own high energy black lab (She's still the best dog in the world!). I even taught her how to run next to me on a bike and on skis to get her energy out. My last dog lived to be 16, though, so I can also go slow and easy on the wiser pups. I'm very active and on my own time will run, hike and paddle board! Don't worry though, I will have lots of extra energy for your fluff ball. I just graduated school from the University of Washington in biology (can you tell I like animals?) so I have lots of time to give to dogs while I find a job.
