I have been an animal lover since I was a child. My parents had two dogs in the home when I was born, so I grew up around puppy-kisses, furry cuddles, and tail wags. I was fortunate to also have a family full of 'animal people'. I spent my days as a kid running around my grandmother's animal sanctuary in Miami, taking care of a number of exotic rescued animals. My grandmother taught me how to raise parrots from infancy and how to tell if an animal was ill. It was a great experience that taught me the love and responsibility it takes to care for a pet. When I got a bit older, I spent my summers raising as many puppies as my parents would allow; fostering them until they could find their forever families. As an adult, I worked for Nuzzles & Co. Animal Rescue (Park City) as an Adoption Specialist. I had the responsibility of caring for multiple dogs and cats on a daily basis, as well as acting as an advocate, counselor, and educator for potential pet owners. Nuzzles was where I fell in love with my two rescue pups, Lily and Roma. I love to be outside with them; whether at the dog park, on a long walk, or a full day hike. Currently, I am working part-time from home, so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule and would love to spend some time with your fur baby. I have experience with clicker training, special needs animal care and administering medications. I am also comfortable handling strong pullers and/or reactive animals.
