Hello, Pet Parents, Thank you for coming to my page! Please take the time to read the following information I have provided and get to know me a little! =) My Name is Tara and I am 34 years old. I am a Professional Pet Sitter / Animal Caretaker, a devoted Wife and blessed Mother, here in beautiful Charleston, SC. I truly believe that as pet parents/ Pet Owners that our pets are way more than 'Just A Pet'. They are a huge blessing in each of our lives and they are a special part of the FAMILY. They all deserve endless amounts of love, quality care and attention- and as a Professional Pet Caretaker, Pet Sitter and Animal Lover, that is where I come in and why I devote myself full time to this wonderful profession! Being a Professional Pet Caretaker/ Pet Sitter is my passion, my pride and joy and I take my line of work very seriously. Most importantly, I know how stressful it can get as a pet parent while searching to find a genuine, trustworthy Professional Pet Sitter to care for your beloved pet. As so, *I am here to assure all pet parents/owners and clients of mine who book services with me the peace of mind, comfort, and trust in knowing that your pet(s) will be properly, genuinely and attentively cared for while they are in my care. Furthermore, your pet(s) will receive endless amounts of love, will be kept SAFE, spoiled as if they are my own and will always receive the professional, high-quality care they need and deserve while with me!* As a child I grew up with 3 dogs, 4 cats, 3 Horses, 6-12 Chickens, 2 Rabbits, and 1 Ferret who I always helped my mother and father care for. Throughout my whole life I have always loved animals and had a passion for caring for them, and knew from a young age that my calling in life was to care for animals. Leading me to becoming a Professional Pet Sitter/ Animal Caretaker. My parents who still currently live right down the street from me have 1 Horse, 2 Goats, 1 Dog, 2 Cats, and 10 Chickens that I help take care and always go spend time with. For many, many years I have also volunteered at and donated to Animal Shelters and Animal Rescues. I still make sure to donate some of my earning to these shelters and rescues, as well as try to make time to volunteer for them when I am able! Tara and her family took great care boarding Rufus while we were here for a family vacation. She was caring and very patient with his initial anxiety, even though he made their first nights together tough, habit sleeping and restless with separation issues. She handled his daily medication and tended to all his needs. It made my heart so happy to see him calm, relaxed, playful and happy - his true self - in the videos and pictures she shared. And to see how much her whole family was part of his life the week we were apart. She communicated often and sent tons of pictures. He was cared for as if he was their own and I know he felt at home. We are so grateful! If we lived in the area we would try to book with Tara every time!
Tara was a lifesaver!! we were staying at the Andell Inn on Kiawah Island, and we’re planning on attending an all day event the next day. We did not want the dogs to be stuck in the hotel room, possibly getting into trouble for barking, so I began looking for a pet sitter who could take them in their home. We found Tara who is a godsend. Tara drove to the Andell and pick them up in the morning and then return them at night. Of course there was a travel fee, but that was not a problem for me considering she lives 45 minutes away and was willing to do it in the timeframe that we needed it. The girls were well taken care of we receive pictures throughout the day and I think one of our dogs may have even bonded with one of her kids. ? If you’re considering Tara as a caregiver for your pets, I highly recommend her!

1. Does your dog get along well with other dogs? 2. Does your dog get along well with children? 3. Are they housebroken/potty trained? Please Note: If your fur baby is not potty trained, please let me know so i know to work with them and take them out more frequently while they are in my care. Also please be sure to bring a stack of potty pads in case! :-D 4. Please bring their favorite treats, favorite chew/play toys, and any blanket, stuffed animal or doggy bed they use/love! 5. Do they have any food/ skin allergies I need to know about? 6. Are they up to date on all recommended vaccines? 7. Please be sure to bring their food and treats with them, and enough for all days they will need sitting/boarding!
A typical day
Each animal is special and unique. Depending on the animal, their health, age, personality, what they love, enjoy and are accustomed to, is how I decide on the activities we will / can do. I also make sure to get the pet owner(s) for permission for all activities. I love taking them on nature walks, and walks on the beach. Per the owner’s permission of course. Also any outdoor fun and play time with their favorite toys! There will definitely be a lot of cuddles, lots’ of belly rubs, attention, and love! You can never spoil them to much! =} Important: Please make sure to bring any of your pets special/ favorite toys, and blankets they have. It is comforting to them when they have their toys, blankets, etc, with familiar smells when they are staying somewhere unfamiliar. If they have a doggy bed they are used to, you can bring that as well (I do let them sleep in the bed with me if it is okay with the owner). ☺️ Feel free to bring their favorite treats also!
