Pet care experience
I devote my entire life to loving and caring for animals. I have years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician, as well as working with rescue/shelter dogs and cats, behavior training, and caring for a variety of other pets (chickens, ducks, reptiles, goats, etc). No matter what kind of pets you have, I am comfortable with them all and know that they all deserve my full attention. I am happy to enforce house rules, work on new and desired behaviors with your pets, and provide any special medical attention necessary (oral or injectable medication, SQ fluids, etc). Please let me know if you have a specific request, and I will do my best to accommodate.

Tara is fabulous with my older dog! So glad I found her. Her location is great and she is able to accommodate his quirks. She was also incredibly helpful in working with my scheduling constraints.
Was great caring for our home, and our dogs and cat. Tara provided daily walks, and plenty of attention. She took wonderful pictures with updates as well.
Tara was nothing short of amazing!! And what a fun property for our pup to explore! We had never left our pup with anyone so were nervous to put it mildly. Tara quickly helped our pup and us feel comfortable and he had such a wonderful experience staying with her. He was able to socialize and play with other dogs and cats as well which was so so good for him. Our dog gets anxious in new situations and she was very patient with him. She also sent us updates during his stay which I absolutely loved. We can't thank you enough Tara! We will definitely use you again the next time we're in the area.

Please let me know about your dogs temperament and what I can expect. I am comfortable with all breeds and personality types, but right now can only do drop ins/walks for dogs that won't be terrified by a baby in a carrier, since he will need to tag along.
A typical day
I love to go on walks, hikes, and trips to the beach. Tell me your dog's favorite activity and I can accommodate! Does your dog want a friend or two to play with? I have two friendly, playful, and respectful dogs that I'd be willing to introduce.

Availability
I am currently a stay at home mom with an infant, so my schedule is flexible. My little boy would be coming with me for most visits, but will be confined to a carrier and will not be directly interacting with your pets.
