I often love being outside in the outdoors because I enjoy and need the fresh air as much as your cuddly friend. Of course there is also a large fenced backyard if the doggy would like that also as much as inside the house. Above all I know it's always important to treat god's innocent creatures with respect because they deserve to be happy just like you and I. As much as for cats or dogs, I like them both just as much and I do not have a preference.
