My years of puppy raising with Guide Dogs of America has given me an outstanding education in dog behavior and raising puppies to become good canine citizens. Today, I am the proud owner of a "career changed" black Labrador. When he was rejected from the Guide Dogs of America program at two-years-old, I formally adopted him. I had raised him from a puppy and knew he would make the best companion. He is the love of my life. For years, I have regularly gone to the Sepulveda off-lease dog park and witnessed unsafe dog care by “professional sitters”. During the pandemic I realized I was in a unique position to offer you the responsible and loving care I want for my dog. My goal is for you and your dog to feel safe and spoiled while staying with friends instead of a stranger. I created a safe, fun, and enriching environment to care for your pups when you can’t be with them. I have a large enclosed patio I reimagined for the dogs. It’s filled with nearly indestructible toys, comfortable furniture, air conditioner, flat screen tv, area rugs, crates, orthopedic beds, and a cement floor that opens out to the back yard. My yard has a double-entry gate surrounded by an 8 ft fence for secure unlimited playtime, sunbathing, or squirrel hunting. Tug of war is the favorite game at my house. My yard is active with nature at all hours of the day and night. I take pride in a clean and stress free environment for myself and the dogs. I limit the number of dogs in my care to a small pack of friendly, well socialized or shy and timid dogs. Bringing your dog here is like sending them on vacation to their best friends house with an overprotective adult. I have plenty of toys to stimulate their mind and space to satisfy their physical needs. For dogs that need additional activities and exercise I can offer trips to the Sepulveda off-leash dog park (timid side only). However, most days the dogs come here to play with friends and don’t leave the property. I believe in the saying, “A good dog is a tired dog”. Thank you for reading about me and my amazing dog.
