I have cared for dogs and other animals from a very young age. My husband and I have rescued 7 bassetts over 28 years of marriage. We have two bassetts currently. I know dogs, I know their wants and needs. Homemade dog treat, belly scratches, and fresh air are a must. I believe a dog's happiness is sleeping in his own bed at night and being reassured often that its owners will be home soon. As a dog owner I know dogs are social in nature. I have cared for social, shy - and even a hair mental - dogs. They will become my babies as we get to know each other. We also have a cat. He is a sweet little boy in our household and I would be more than happy to take care of yours as well. I am home with my children and pets on two acres.
