Pet lover & animal rescue volunteer

Pet care experience

PLEASE NOTE: My home is an open-play environment for well-socialized dogs. When I am home, all the dogs are loose together, under my supervision. I need to conduct a “meet and greet” before the first booking for all new clients, to evaluate how the dogs play together. This is just to make sure all our pups get along famously, and stay safe together. For your peace of mind, you will know I have evaluated all other dogs that may board at the same time as yours. I had been working from home exclusively, but in early 2023, I had to return to the office two days per week. On those days, I will need to crate visiting dogs until and after I come home at lunchtime for potty breaks for boarding dogs and my dog. I can only accept dogs who are crate trained and not upset (do not cry or have separation anxiety) by being crated, when I cannot actively supervise them. All dogs will be crated at mealtimes, at bedtime, and if I need to leave the house. I have always had dogs and cats of my own. I fostered animals for local animal rescue for years. I even worked part-time at a doggie daycare, just for fun! I will treat your pets as my own, and I have experience with both infant animals and geriatric ones! I love them all!

Hi All; I just I am so happy that I had the pleasure of letting Tanya take care of our soft coated wheaton terrier Gracie. Tanya took Gracie last minute, she was really careful about her intake process of any dogs considering being bordered at her home. I had to fill out an extensive questionnaire and showcase all of Gracie's vaccine records. Tanya made sure everything was in place before committing to taking care of Gracie and making sure she had a good temperament to get along with her two dogs. Also, Tanya committed herself to taking me to the airport, which was such a big relief for me. I'm sure this is not part of her services, but I am so grateful because It was such a big help to me. Tanya sent pictures everyday of Gracie activities and her just hanging around the house. I can't thank Tanya enough for good quality time and knowing my furry friend and family member was well taking care of during my week of absence.

Tanya was amazing! My dog thoroughly enjoyed his time with her and her pups. She was very communicative, and sent me frequent pictures to alleviate my anxiety as I’d never left my dog with anyone for an extended period. I highly recommend her!

Tanya was fabulous, she took such great care of my Izzy, even spoiled her a little. She sent tons of pics & videos which the whole family couldn't wait to see. I will definitely use her again to care for my fur baby. Siobhan

Tanya was absolutely wonderful with our elderly dog. We received pictures, videos, and daily updates on how she was doing. Autumn loved her time so much with Tanya and her new doggie friends that we are positive she is now bored with us and wants to go back!!

I have a friendly dog to keep your pet company. I have crates, food and water bowls, toys, and bedding available, so I normally do not need clients to bring their own. Just bring your pet, their food, and any medications! I have a ramp from my deck to the backyard, so elderly pets won’t need to climb any steps at all! My home is super pet friendly! I have a very active 2-1/2 year old, 80 lb Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd/American Foxhound mix. My pup has been friendly to all others she has ever met. She is clumsy and crazy about tumbling around the backyard with new furry friends. At this time, I can only accept new clients, who have dog-friendly, well-socialized dogs (young puppies are the exception, as they may not have been able to be around other dogs until they’re fully vaccinated).
