Tanner is an extremely responsible young man and his love for dogs shines through his individual care for them. He has cared for my three dogs on numerous occasions and I couldn't imagine going to someone else. My fur babies range from large (lab/pit mix), to medium (shiba/jindo mix), to small (rat terrier mix). He is always willing to go above and beyond for a dog and that just about the best thing ...

Happy Dog, Happy Life

My name is Tanner and I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance at Creighton University. I am a Colorado native and have spent my whole life around dogs. Back home, my family has two Labradors, one yellow (Cody) and one black (Emma); they are my best friends and I count down the days until I see them during my next school break. I have worked mostly with large dogs such as ...

What Tanner would like to know about your dog

I would like to know about any medications the dog needs to take, if they have a strict schedule, any triggers, and if they have separation anxiety. I don't have breed preferences as I love all kids of dogs, but I have a soft spot for Labradors and Golden Retrievers.

When Tanner watches your pet

I always look for parks nearby your house so that the dog(s) can enjoy open grassy areas. If your dog is high energy, I am always happy to run with him/her to ensure they have released most of their energy before going back home. For older dogs, I am happy to take a slow stroll and go at their pace. For longer housesitting stays, if approved by you, I love going on hikes and lake trips during the warm season. One of my favorite spots to walk is the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge and enjoy playing fetch in Turner Park at Midtown Crossing.
