Disclaimer: please check “Tanith’s Pet Care Rates” for a breakdown of my services! I started taking care of pets in high school for neighbors and family members. I have experience with a wide range of pets, ie. seniors, babies, big, small, blind, deaf, medicated, etc. I also have experience with reptiles and rodents which are super fun to take care of (turtles and rats have been my personal favorites). I haven't had any issues with any type of pet so I hope to be a great fit for you and your fur baby. I am very detail-oriented so I will follow your instructions carefully and precisely. I will probably ask lots of questions to make sure I understand everything correctly so written instructions/details are always helpful. I will also be on my phone frequently while I'm with your pet in case you need to reach me as well. Consistent communication is very important to me! Tanith did an excellent job taking care of my dog while I was out of town. Sent lots of pictures and kept me updated every step of the way!
Tanith came highly recommended to me from a friend. She was warm and at ease with my very excitable pup during our meet and greet, and I felt confident about leaving Lola for a weekend trip. Unfortunately Lola didn’t get to hang out with Tanith as my trip got canceled, but I am looking forward to booking with her in the future.
Tanith is a nice person and she did a great job taking care of my cat!
Tanith is the best! She took care of my senior cat who had a lot of meds and every changing dietary habits and did it excellently. She stayed in my apartment and left the space tidy. I'd definitely use Tanith again!

When walking, sitting, or dropping-in on pets I always try to make sure their basic needs are being met while providing them the comfort/playfulness/care that their owners normally would. It’s important for them to know they are not being forgotten or left behind!

Please let me know if they need any special medications or treatment so that I can make sure that I’m providing that correctly. If they need 24-hour care then that's something we should discuss prior to booking so we are both on the same page. Lastly, I would also like to know how they are around other animals or people, that way I know if we need to avoid anything while out on walks.
A typical day
I like to be active with pets and play with them (if they like it). I can give them daily exercise, play time, and lots of pets. While also making sure they are being fed and getting ample water. If they have other special needs that need to be met then I can work that into the schedule as well.
