Pet care experience
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT? We have a dedicated 'Rover Room' in our home where the dogs can play, nap, and lounge around. We also have a video camera in the room which allows us to monitor them from anywhere in the house. On the rare occasion we step out to run a quick errand, the dogs remain in the Rover Room listening to soft calming music from their dedicated Alexa device with soft ambient lighting. We are also a hop, skip, and a jump away (5 minutes) from the airport which makes pick-up/drop-off SUPER convenient! ABOUT US: Our names are Tania and Sam and we have a sweet senior German Shepherd (Isabel) and a petite Staffordshire mix (Maddie). We are here to alleviate the worry and stress of finding the best care for your furbaby. Whether you are going on vacation, an unexpected trip, or have a busy work schedule we are here to provide a hassle free experience. If our calendar shows us as booked, still feel free to reach out to us in case we have last minute opening. We have raised, fostered, rescued, and adopted various dogs and have volunteered with non-profit organizations throughout the years. We especially have experience with long-term stays, the longest being two years. Coming from a military family, we value our service members and first responders and are flexible with price and length of stay. It does not matter whether your furbaby is with us for days, weeks, or years- we will care for your best friend as though they are our own. During COVID times, we are both fortunate enough to work from home full-time, which allows us to provide the extra love 24/7. We make it our number one priority to ensure both you and your furbaby are comfortable by updating you with photos and updates about their stay/drop-in. This is not a job for us, but a passionate hobby. <3 COVID DISCLAIMER: For the safety of ourselves and our pets, we are currently only accepting drop-off/pick-ups through our garage, and masks are required. Prior to pick-up, we disinfect all items with natural, eco-friendly cleaners. Other than that, we are still up and running and highly prefer virtual meet and greets when booking new clients :)

We do not accept aggressive dogs that can cause harm to others or to us. Safety first! As beautiful as San Antonio may be, the humidity and greenery is an ideal location for bugs and insects of all kind. As much as we take care of our house, and backyard, we can not control Mother Nature. We have never had any issues with ticks or fleas and keep our dogs records up to date with regular vet visits. We ask that you also take care of your pet with regular bathing, monthly heartworm, flea/tick treatment, and anything to prevent unwanted pests prior to boarding. We will not accept any dog that is showing signs of flea/tick infestation. In addition, please ensure your dog has a collar with updated tags during their stay. Other than that, we are very open to helping while you are away! We accept dogs that are not yet neutered or spayed (not together, of course), dogs in need of special care/treatment, or going through potty training. All we ask is you provide full disclosure about your dog to ensure we are giving proper care.
A typical day
We will treat your dog(s) like our own. With COVID, we limit activities to dog walks and lots of playing in our large backyard. Pre-COVID, we were frequent goers to the dog park, so if you'll allow it, we will take them with us on outings while maintaining proper vigilance and awareness! We love to go to dog friendly places (Pam's Patio Kitchen, The Friendly Spot, The Pearl, farmers markets, etc.) and enjoy the atmosphere with them.
