I am an animal lover and I don't care about what type of animal we are talking about. If it is a pet, I want to give it love! With that said, I mainly love dogs because, besides the accessibility, they are so innocent and so straight forward in life. No mind games or guessing needed. I've taken care of dogs of various breeds and sizes because almost every close relative I have when growing up, had dogs and I was the go-to girl when they needed help. I personally had a Doberman and a Miniature Pinscher during my teenage years in Brazil. In college years overseas, I got my second Miniature Pinscher puppy in my life and he lived for 17 years. Yes, I brought him back with me from overseas! Unfortunately, he passed away in 2020 of old age. I haven't gotten another dog since then, but living in a neighborhood full of dogs, helps me curb the urge to get another dog for now and delay the inevitable heartache. Hopefully in a very near future, I'll finally decide that I am ready to face that kind of loss again in this life, in exchange for another 14-20 years of unconditional love. I know it's worth it. Dogs bring so much love and happiness into our lives that when they leave, no matter their size, they leave a giant meteor crater size hole in our heart. I personally still find it unbearable. I am very respectful of people's property, dogs and time. I am punctual, reliable, careful and follow instructions very closely because I really care about the dogs. However, I will not administer shots or try to give pills to dogs that are known to be difficult to give those to, unless it's a pill in a pill pocket that your dog will gladly take as a treat. I can feed the dog, and make sure he has water, before leaving it after the walk. Your dog(s) will get my full attention because I don't walk with dogs of different households and I also do not browse my phone while walking dogs because I like to be aware of my surroundings in order to make sure we all have safe outdoor experiences.
