Pet care experience
I have had dogs in my family my entire life so I am no stranger to dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am also very flexible, patient, and adaptable - so I can ensure I get to know your dog's personality, their behaviors, and respect their preferred treatment and care. Since I work from home, I am available all day to give your pup some good ol' TLC - making sure they're tended to throughout the entire day. Your pup can expect lots of snuggles, fun games such as fetch and tug of war, and long walks or adventures at local dog parks.

Tania watched our 2yo Weimaraner, Willa, for a week while we were out of town. She met us before we had her watch Willa for the week to help Willa feel more comfortable with Tania and her apartment. She provided us updates while we were away and Willa always looked at home and happy in the photos/videos. Willa has lots of energy and Tania took her for long walks and off leash time! She administered medication for Willa and let Willa snuggle on the future with her. We were so happy to know Willa was safe and loved while we were gone. We will have Tania watch Willa in the future and recommend her to others in the San Diego area!

I live in a very dog-friendly apartment complex that comes with an awesome enclosed dog park - perfect for your pet to play in if that’s your preference! In addition, I always pet-proof my apartment to make sure your dog never gets into anything that could be harmful to them. Last, I will always follow provided instructions closely and check in with you every day with pictures of your pet to ensure things are going well. Pets are allowed are my furniture and bed so be sure they will receive plenty of cuddles and love!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should account for. If they are not friendly with other dogs, I can ensure minimal to no contact with other pups in my building. I also have experience with older dogs, so let me know if there’s any concern about medication, or with their ability to jump or go on long walks.
A typical day
I typically love providing pups with plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation by playing games with them, taking them for a sniff around my neighborhood, and letting them engage with other pups at the dog park in front of my building - although I will always customize their care depending on their age and needs. If your pet is a bit older, I also have a large balcony for them to take sunbaths and a comfy couch they can lounge on.

Availability
I work from home/ remotely full-time, so I have plenty of time to provide quality care for your pet. This allows me to go on frequent potty stops, provide ample cuddles, and ensure they are never unattended. My schedule is very flexible and I finish work at around 2:30 pm, giving me the rest of the day to fully focus on your pet.
