Pet care experience
I am a dog-mom to a 12 year old Great Pyrenees /Mastiff and a grand to 3 more pups, an 8 year Border Collie mix, a 6 year old Australian Shepherd, and a 3 yo pit mix. My prior dog lived 14 years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I am an empty nester, so my pup, Lance, is like a child to me. Lance joins my husband and me on most of our adventures. I have a background in caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. My experience includes walking, exercising, feeding, and bathing dogs. I will always carry “doggie bags” and clean up after your pet while on walks or outside. I am also comfortable administering oral and topical medications as well as transporting your pet to and from vet appointments or the dog park, if needed. My belly rubs are the best!!

Overnight stays and house sitting services at your home are available on a limited basis. My mid sized SUV is large enough to accommodate your pet to and from appointments, as needed. My goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for your pet and make the time away from you more comfortable. Don’t worry…I will send you lots of pictures of your pup!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs such as medication administration or allergies. I always have treats on hand, but if you would rather your dog not get any treats, I am happy to abide. If your dog has any special likes or dislikes, I would like to know that as well. If your pet likes to walk in a certain area or park, I am able to accommodate him/her.
A typical day
The dogs I care for are in for an adventure! I am pretty active, so I love playing ball or frisbee and running around the yard with dogs. I like to walk in the neighborhood and allow the dog to enjoy all the sniffs he/she wants! I also enjoy going to dog parks and walking on trails. I can guarantee that your dog will be worn out after one of my visits. Of course, if you have a senior dog like I do, I will be sure to walk at his/her pace.

Availability
I am currently semi-retired in the cardiology field, and I am a PT caregiver for my in-laws . Although my schedule varies, I am available most days during the week. I am looking to occupy my extra time with something I enjoy, and what better way to do it than nurturing your pet while you are away!
