Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Tania! Dogs, in my eyes, are literally the best thing in the world!! I’ve been working with animals in some capacity for most of my adult life. Everything from cleaning kennels at my local vet, to volunteering at the SPCA, to becoming a certified veterinary assistant, to running my own non-profit organization helping to subsidize vet bills for those in need. I currently work as a vet tech assistant from Monday-Thursday so am available Friday Saturday and Sunday for dog sitting! My senior dog Roxi has passed away but I am mom to a one year old poodle named Trixie! She is amazing with other dogs but is quite high energy 😊

Tania was fantastic. We met about a month before I boarding Cally in Tania's home. I had a feeling from the start that it would be a great fit. Cally was with Tania for 4 nights and I felt extremely comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Tania sent regular updates and was extremely flexible with pick up and drop off times. It was quite evident that Tania loves dogs! A cute finishing touch was providing Cally with a little "loot" bag on departure. Thank you taking care of my little one while I was out of town!
Tania is such a wonderful and lovely person, and definitely our favourite sitter. She is genuinely caring, kind, and thoughtful towards us, and our dog who has separation anxiety - she was able to dedicate her attention and effort in making him feel welcome, comforted, as well as play time and giving lots of affection. Her well-rounded experience, knowledge and understanding in caring for dogs is very obvious, and I felt I could trust her completely. My dog had a blast spending time with her, and we couldn't think of a better person to take care of our dog again in the future.
Tania was fantastic with our 3 dogs! She sent regular updates while we were away so we knew exactly how they were settling in. Our smallest has very high anxiety and even she settled in nicely with Tania. She was so sweet to even send the pups with a little treat bag at the end of their stay. We would love to go through our wonderful neighbourhood exploring, smelling, stopping to say hi to other dog friends, we can even go to a park and play fetch! I live right by the river so we also love long walks along the river pathway!
