Pet care experience
Since being little, I have always taken care of pets that we’ve had. Growing up I had a lovely bull mastiff called Belle - I fed and walked her often! She was an absolutely beautiful dog. I’ve relocated back to Shropshire about two months ago but at the family home up North I have two cats called Milo and JJ who have been apart of our family for 10 years now so have experience in both cat and dog sitting, feeding, bathing & walking! I have a Level 2 Diploma in Animal management so I have previous written and practical skills to bring to any sitting, alongside this some prior work experience in a kennels and cattery and some farm work. I’m looking to add onto the personal and professional experience and start doing something I am passionate about in my free time.

Tamsyn is very professional when it comes to looking after your dog. She was very understanding with our mini Dachshund puppy Albert. We were very happy with regular updates and plenty of photos and videos. If you have any concerns regarding someone staying in your house, as I did, Tamsyn will put your mind at ease. We will definitely be using Tamsyn again.
Tamsyn did a great job looking after my little sausages and my home. Lots of updates and photos and they’ve had a lovely time with lots of walks. Highly recommended! Will be happy to use Tamsyn again any time!
We went away to Spain and asked Tamsyn to move into our house and look after our dogs, ones a chow, the other a Pekingese. From the outset, she was extremely professional and very responsible. She clearly loves animals. When we reached out to her on Rover, she responded promptly and arranged a face to face meeting at our home. She took great care to understand our dogs' routines, meal times, treats and personalities and we felt we were leaving the dogs and our house, in good hands. We met her on the day we were due to leave at the time agreed and did a hand over. Whilst we were away, Tamsyn has sent us updates every day, including photos and videos of our dogs, Teddy and Lola. She has clearly enjoyed looking after them and we are sure, they have had a good time aswell. I don't think we could have asked for more than Tamsyn has delivered, we highly recommend her, she is a lovely person. Highly recommended for house and dog sitting. 10 out of 10 WELL DONE !
Freddy was so relaxed and happy and had clearly had a good time. Tamsyn was so careful with his walks as it was so hot she made sure he was taken out early and later in the day so it would be too hot for him. She played with him in the garden and we were able to have a nice time without worrying about anything.

In your home pet sitting and/or walking I can ensure that any requests for your pets will be met with complete professionalism. I can monitor different types of specialised food your pet might need and update you every time your pet has eaten and use training methods in house for puppies. Regular updates will be provided with photos/videos and I will also give written updates of activities and games we have played throughout the time your pet has been with me. My rates reflect constant care, meaning I am with your pets 24.7, unless it’s been discussed at the meet and greet that your pet will be okay on their own and for what period of time that may be. It’s important to me to take into account individual needs of your pets and what may occur in your absence i.e separation anxiety and I consider this high priority, so please be assured that they’ll be with me constantly as required throughout my time caring for your pets.

If there are any special requirements, please let me know ahead of time so I can accurately accommodate both you and your pets properly, preferably if you have a younger dog who requires special attention i.e lead training or crate training. Alternatively, if you own a senior animal that will need assistance in my care or if they are on a special diet please could you let me know too. Additionally, if there are any challenging behaviours that may need to be discussed and taken into account before a walk, drop in or housesit please describe what this is and how this can impact both me and your pet.
A typical day
Doggy activities will include playtime such as catch and tug with their favourite toys! Lots of fuss, cuddles and love. For dog walking, there are lots of areas in Shropshire to take dogs. My favourite walks are just on the outskirts of Market Drayton i.e Buntingsdale, the nature reserve, sandy lane. I’m more than happy to walk your dog’s favourite route too if your request is outside of where I am located. For cats, playtime will be just as inclusive, with the use of cat’s favourite toys; my cats love playing with toy mice and enjoy playing chase. Drop ins for cats can include feeding, playtime and lots of cuddles!

I currently offer housesitting services between 6pm Friday to 6pm Sunday. I’m unavailable in the week due to other work commitments. Please note: unfortunately if you are further than 15 miles away I will not be able to accept the booking.
