I have known Tammy over 25 years. She has been watching Mercedes over 10 years. Mercedes is our 13-year-old Toy Poodle. Mercedes has never been able to stay in a kennel, although she is trained to a cage and/or pillow. She has separation anxiety. She is rarely left home alone and even goes to work with us. Mercedes runs away when we go to the vet or the groomer. She is always excited to go to Tammy’s though. Tammy works in an attorney’s office during the week and is home on weekends. She likes to keep her dog visitors safe and comfortable. She leaves her TV on when she goes to work so her cat will not be lonely and can find security in the noise of people talking. She has a nice, quiet neighborhood, where everyone knows each other. She has a relaxing home and lets the dogs, who are well behaved, enjoy most of her home and furniture. Mercedes will not sleep unless she is in a bed with her human. Tammy allows that. Mercedes is older now and has special needs. Her diet has changed, her vision is getting bad, and she has had several teeth pulled. But, I just leave a note in her bag, about any new issues, along with all Mercedes emergency information. Tammy has adjusted to all her senior needs. Mercedes has stayed overnight and as long as two weeks. Each time we pick her up, she is well fed, happy and healthy. Doug Beyer
