Pet care experience
Your dog's health, happiness and well-being are my primary concern, along with your peace of mind. I would treat your dog just as I do my own: with love, affection, respect and attention. I've owned four different dogs in my adult life. Three of which were different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and health needs. I've also fostered 2 different dogs at different times. I've always been drawn to animals. I wanted to be a veterinarian at one time until I realized I might have to cause pain or put an animal to sleep. I couldn't handle the thought of doing that. If I had the chance and the means to do so, I would have a large acreage and take in rescue and homeless dogs. That's been my ultimate dream. I have a dog whom I would bring with me if I were to stay in someone's home to for overnight dog care & house sitting. For dog walks only, my dog can stay home or come along, whichever the client prefers.

One of the best Rover experiences we've had! Tammy was great with Sam. She kept me updated, sent me photos, took him on several walks and was even able to give him his eye ointment. Her dog DJ and Sam played really well! We can't wait to return :)
Tammy was a terrific sitter. She sent regular updates with pictures and was very loving with my 60 pound, selective-listening dog Doug. Her pup DJ is a sweetheart, too!
Tammy would be great as a dog sitter, she truly loves dogs and would give them all of her attention and care. She is honest and trustworthy and I would trust her with my dog. She is very outgoing and conscientious. This would be a great fit for her as she will be able to set her hours to work within her schedule. You will find her to be very loving and friendly. She is a people person as well as a dog person. I would highly recommend her.
Tammy, has worked with my dog who is a large black lab who has serious anxiety & separation issues. She was calm, courteous & knowledgeable. If she's not sure about an animal she does lots of research on them & anything to help make the experience better. She's also good woth people. LOL

There are 2 main concerns I'd have to know about a potential boarding or day care situation in my home. First: Is the dog housebroken? Second: Do they play well with other dogs? If a client prefers I care for their dog in their home over night or all day, I would be bringing my dog. I don't have any breed or size preferences. I do not know dog CPR, however, I am willing to learn.
A typical day
We have several areas of my apartment complex to explore and check out. Visiting dogs would enjoy checking out the scents, grassy areas and trees. I take my dog to the dog park a coule of time a week for play time and socializing off leash. If a client allows me to, I would take their dog along with mine and we'd have lots of fun. When I am at the dog park, I'm not on my phone or talking only to people, I pay attention to my dog and other dogs also.
