Pet care experience
As a child, I was raised with numerous dogs of different sizes ranging from Great Dane's down to a Cockapoo. I take pride in the belief that dogs are family and should be treated just like any other loved one. I have been involved with a lot of dog training with our own dog and am familiar with behaviors to watch out for. My sweet dog is a rescue who is dog reactive (she will NEVER be around your pet- which is why I do not provide in-home boarding), but because of that, I have a lot of experience with those difficulties. This may bring you comfort if you have a pet with similar issues. I am willing to communicate with you through texting, phone calls, and emails to meet what is best for you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. I cannot wait to spoil your beloved pets!

This is our second time using Tammy and she was so awesome with our little Scully. We got pictures from their walk and she even played brain games with him! We will definitely be using her as she treats our puppy with such love!
Tammy did an amazing job with my elderly Shiba- I have only left her in someone else's care once before in her life, but only when she was much younger and wondered if her age would impact care. Tammy listened to my instructions attentively and was very respectful and accomodating, taking her for numerous trips out for both exercise (my dog doesn't go very far, very fast anymore) and for interaction. I think my dog really enjoyed herself and appeared to be very comfortable in all the pictures Tammy sent. I will definitely book with Tammy again for any trip needs I have.
My dog and cat are basically my children and I'm quite particular about who I have watch my boys :). Tammy's one of the few people that I would trust to leave my boys with. You can tell that she genuinely loves animals. She's someone that I know is going to spoil them and love on them like her own versus doing the bare minimum. It was always a concern of mine worrying that my dog especially is just sitting at home by himself all the time getting the bare minimum. But she takes him for walks and snuggles with them! I love that she sends me pictures of my fur baby too! Always nice to see that he's doing well and having fun while when I'm away :) Thanks for taking such great care of my boys! You're dependable and trustworthy and I know my boys are spoiled and a priority when your watching them. I appreciate it!
Tammy is an extremely loving and caring person, and that translates effortlessly to her love for animals - especially dogs. Tammy has had dogs in her family her entire life, so it is second nature for her to treat the dogs in her life as family members. Tammy is extremely passionate about animals and I cannot think of a person better suited to provide love and care to your dog.

I believe each pet has a unique need that will be outlined by the owner. For walks, I can walk around the neighborhood, bring your dog to Lowes to get socialization, or we can go to the park. I am apprehensive about dog parks because I do not trust other dogs in those situations. I love dog training and it is likely that I would work with your dog, if needed. For safety reasons, I will likely only accept staying in your home if I have met you and worked with your dog before, or if it is a referral of someone trusted. I will also only accept it if I can ensure I can be with your dog/cat most of the time (I work 12 hour shifts, so I will never accept it if I work those full days). This is because I believe if you pay someone to care for your pet, that they should be there to care for your pet :)

Before caring for your dog, I would like to know basic information about your dog's characteristics. Things such as: Is your dog good with other dogs, or does it prefer to be by itself? Has your dog ever been aggressive towards food, a person, or another animal? When walking your dog, does it have a history of bolting towards "exciting things" such as a squirrel or another dog? This information will help me to give care that is specific toward your beloved dog.
A typical day
I will specify the care that I will provide to each dog. If you dog is energetic, we will be doing a lot more outdoor activities such as running or playing fetch. If your dog is elderly or prefers the "laid back lifestyle" then we will stick to shorter walks and snuggling on the couch. If a dog could benefit from being socialized or getting out of the house, I love to take them around places that are dog friendly, such as Lowes. I'm also happy to take them to a park.
