Hi there! I began my journey as a Rover sitter to love up on the beautiful dog souls we’ve been blessed with! I really do see them as our earth angels. My love for dogs began at a young age when I raised my family's runt pug at 3 weeks old. A year ago, my sweet pitbull/basset hound mix unfortunately passed away, and part of what has helped my grieving process is the joy that I get from being with other dogs—I love them as if they were my own. I carry a warm and kind presence—just to give you an idea, owners often tell me they rarely see their dogs open up to strangers as well as they do with me! I have many experiences with dogs who have behavioral issues like separation anxiety, leash pulling, and fear-based aggression. I have trained several dogs using positive reinforcement, clicker training, and leash training. Usually after one night, they can feel comfortable enough with me to go about their normal daily routine. Often times, the dogs end up loving me and wagging their tail when they see me. It is important to please let me know ahead of time if your dog has behavioral issues that I should be aware of. You can rely on me to provide companionship, observant care, and love to your dog while you’re away! I provide updates and pretty immediate responses throughout my entire stay in your home.
