Pet care experience
I like to think that for my guests, staying at “Tami’s K9 B&B” is like an extra special vacation at a bed and breakfast. We offer nature walks in nearby Woods Park, comfy beds for that afternoon nap, and lots of social time with friends. I love dogs and get along well with all breeds and personalities. I love going for walks. I have a fenced yard and a doggie door for small dogs. Chica, Mae, and I live alone and love company. I have several years of experience with taking care of dogs for other people. I've had experience with many breeds and sizes from a 4 pound Yorkie to a 100 pound Doberman. If your dog prefers staying at home, I’m happy to drop in up to several times per day to feed, play, let out, or go for a walk. I also love cats and have many years of experience with them. I offer drop in visits for cats including feeding, cleaning litter, and lots of petting. I am not a “hobby” pet sitter. This is my full time profession, and I take it very seriously. I am personally insured with Kennel Pro on top of the Rover guarantee.

Tami is the best. We have immense trust and confidence in her and the care she takes of our 3 cats, 2 that are seniors and need medication. We've booked Tami several times and will continue to do so. Her communication is excellent and we can always count on updates of her visits. It's hard to leave our cats but it is reassuring to know they are in Tami's care!

Tami is the best and we can't imagine leaving our 3 cats in anyone else's hands. We have 2 senior cats that need medication and she does great with them. We've used Tami's services several times and will continue to do so. She is great at communicating with us and we are 100% confident in her and leaving our 3 cats in her care.

Dogs at my house have full access to my main floor and fenced yard. I have kennels and gates in doorways to separate dogs if needed, especially at meal times, bedtime, and when I’m not able to supervise. Dogs who don’t know each other are never left together without supervision. I am a firm believer in walks and take dogs in my care for at least one walk per day if they are able and weather permits. I try to keep pets on their normal schedule as much as possible.

I think it's important to know a pet’s basic routine so that I can make him or her feel comfortable and safe. I’m generally quiet and low key and let pets approach me when they are comfortable. I appreciate knowing a pet’s general temperament, activity level, and feeding schedule including allowed treats and any food allergies.
A typical day
Chica, Mae, and I go for at least one or two walks every day, weather permitting. We especially love walking in the beautiful Woods Park and on the trails around town, and we enjoy having friends join us for our outings. Because of their advanced ages, Chica and Mae also enjoy their naps. We have a generally calm and quiet home even when we have guests staying with us.

Availability
This is my full time business, so I have a lot of time to devote to the pets in my care. I do offer walks and drop in visits as well as boarding, so there are times I might have to leave to take care of other pets. I am also a musician and sometimes have rehearsals in the evening.
