I have lived with, cared for, and been sitting for pets since I was 10. I currently have two dogs - a Lapponian reindeer herder and an Australian shepherd. The first is 14 and the second is 8. They are both in excellent health and are members of our family more than pets. (They will not accompany me. ). I have had dogs all my life and have dealt with everything from heat to torn ACL’s to eye problems to just normal day to day tummy aches. I have experience with puppies through to death so I am comfortable with all ages. I sat for my son’s two cats for a year and a half. It was my first time living with cats but not caring for them. I am comfortable with them and they seem to like me. All animals respond well to me. I often care for friends’ pets while they are gone. I am comfortable feeding, bathing, walking, administering meds, and just being a companion to all kinds of pets. This is my main job so I am available when you need me. I will block days if I am to travel but right now I am limited on travel so I am pretty wide open. I will address your pet before entering and then warmly greet them if they like that. I try to tailor my approach to each individual animal so that they are comfortable with me. I will respect their boundaries, but also be as playful as they like. I am there to serve them and you and will closely adhere to your wishes and preferences.
