Read on for additional details: My love affair with animals began in childhood when, at a very young age, my first cat named Bootsie (after Puss ‘n’ Boots) was given to me. I became part of the Rover family in August of 2019, and have enjoyed the privilege of meeting and caring for many cats and dogs since then. It’s so much fun discovering all of their cute little cat and dog personalities. All pets are treated as if they were my own as I fall in love with each and every one of them. Since becoming a Rover sitter, my knowledge has broadened in discovering the best practices to help our pets live long, happy, and healthy lives. Felines, independent, even aloof at times, give the misconception they can be left home alone for long periods of time without someone checking in on them. But cats do get lonely, and when boredom sets in, a curious cat will venture where she has never ventured before. To ensure the safety of your cat, please hire a knowledgeable cat sitter (such as myself) to go to your home and check on kitty at least every 24 hours, or more often if possible. I Do Not Accept every other day visits as this infrequency is never a good idea. As mentioned above, I will feed kitty, following your instructions exactly, refresh water checking beforehand if tap, or bottled, and if using a pet fountain, will check level, adding water as needed. The litter box will be scooped at each visit, important in assessing the health status of your cat, and as much play as time permits. For very young cats that need extra playtime, multiple cat households, special needs and/or medication administration, I recommend booking a 60 minute visit which will greatly benefit your cat. Discounts for the extra $$ a 60 minute visit may cost are negotiable. A digital rover card, which will include a photo, sent at the end of each visit, will summarize visit details and wellness of your pet. However, any issues requiring your immediate attention, or any questions about the care, I will notify you immediately. 🏡 HOUSE SITTING - I use your home as my home base for the duration, staying overnight with your pet(s), leaving during the day only if I am booked for drop in visits. I will walk your dog as many times as you specify, or as your dog’s energy level allows. I will retrieve mail, water plants, and take bins to curb. You will come home to a clean home and a happy pet. Additional Information - Before I accept any booking request, I always meet the pet (s) and their owner first, to make sure it will be a good fit. Keeping your pets Happy and Safe while you are away, is my #1 priority. Currently, I am available to pamper your pets on a full-time basis. When house sitting, your home is my home base 90% of the time and certainly overnight. The other 10% I am traveling short distances to see other pets with visits lengths of 30 or 60 minutes. I limit the number of outside visits depending on the amount of care the pet I am house sitting with needs. In the clients home it’s plain snd simple - I treat each and every pet as if they were my own. Your pets will receive lots of love and attention, and they will be kept out of harms way at all times. Drop in visits I am with the pet for a shorter length of time but the love and attention I give will be no less.
