My name is Tamara. I’m a nurse and mother of 2 age 17 and 24! I’m an avid pet lover! I started caring for others pets after struggling finding good care for my pets. My pets are my family and I didn’t like sending them to a kennel to be boarded! My animals needed love and affection everyday! The stress in finding a good place for my pets to stay when I was away was real! I decided that I would love to help others that may struggle with the same problem. So relax! Your pets will be loved and cared for! I love to spend time playing with and walking your pet! Is your pet a snuggler? No problem! Plenty of snuggles here! I have a lot of experience with dogs. I can handle the shy ones and the roudy ones! Some families have their pets on schedules. I’m happy to follow your schedule here as well. I’m looking forward to getting to know and care for your fur babies! I have my profile set as away, because I have been super busy with some of my regular customers. I spoil my dog , Seymour, when he is with me, so I’m always apprehensive about leaving him with someone else when I go out of town. Tamara was amazing! She might have spoiled my boy as much as I do. ;) Seymour was taken on daily walks, got to sleep in bed with their family, and was able to have play dates with other dogs! I felt very comfortable having him stay with Tamara and will definitely use her services again for my next trips!
Tamara is such a good person and my dog was very happy staying with her! The pictures she sent me meant a great deal since they eased my mind about Ellie's behavior. This was her first all day stay with a sitter, and worked out perfectly while I was working at an art show. I would definitely take Ellie to her again!
Such an amazing sitter. Tamara went above and beyond in helping take care of my dog in a pinch. 100% recommend, thank you so much for handling everything so well Tamara!

I do have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love to play as well. I do my best to keep your fur baby on whatever schedule they are used to at home. They stay in the house with us for lots of play and snuggle time.

All breeds accepted!! Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any aggression towards other animals. Bring with your dog any of their favorite toys, crate if that is what they are used to sleeping in, food, leash, and a sweatshirt or blanket from home that smells like you to help with separation anxiety.
A typical day
We go for walks around town and at Washoe Park as long as the weather is nice. I have lots of toys and tennis balls to play with.

Availability
I do work full time night shift as a nurse 3 days a week. My kids who are very experienced with caring for dogs help out when I have to be at work. We take great pride in making sure your dog feels like a part of our family while they are with us.
