I'm what my friends call the "crazy animal person". Dogs, cats, horses, snakes... You name it, I love it and love to care for them. I adore every breed, age, and size of dog. But I have a soft spot for the ones who are a handful or get a bad rap, such as herding breeds, bully breeds, Chihuahuas, etc. I took a veterinary assistant course at a tech center in high school, where I learned much about the care of small mammals, birds, and exotic pets. I have both personally and professionally cared for a variety of pets for many years, and have loved every second of it! I've worked in two boarding facilities, mostly caring for dogs and cats. I volunteered at a sanctuary farm for years, working with any and every farm animal you can think of. I am trained in administering oral medications as well as injections, insulin included. I currently have 2 dogs and a gaggle of cats of my own who are my entire world. I treat every pet the way I want mine to be treated, with all the love and care I have to give.
