Pet care experience
Hello! I am an experienced dog owner, rescuer and animal welfare advocate! I've fostered upwards of 80 dogs in my home and co-founded Passion 4 Paws dog rescue in 2014. I adopted 3 of my previous foster pups, two chi mixes <10lbs and a lab mix (45lbs) plus my partner's pup who is a 65lb GSP (German Shorthaired Pointer) that joined our pack a few years ago. I have experience with most breeds and dogs of all sizes. We are an active bunch, avid hikers and cyclists. I am happy to pop in for feedings, administer medications, walks, hikes, overnight care/short-term boarding (depending on availability/in your home or mine) and provide socialization via my own pups (or not)! My availability is limited primarily to the weekends as I run my own dog camp business and work part-time Monday - Friday.

Tamara is an outstanding pet-sitter and dog aunt, going above and beyond in caring for animals as if they were her own. When I'm out of town and she has my dogs I don't give it a second thought - I know they are being loved on, spoiled, and getting tons of outside time and exercise. She often will send daily updates and photos, giving an extra personal touch. I can't recommend Tamara enough as a dog sitter ... pick her and you and your pups will be glad you did!

Tamara is a true dog lover. She walks the walk and talks the talk, kind of in that order, having been a key player in a Burlington area rescue organization. She has an amazing eye for detail, is meticulous, and pays close attention to the needs of others. Her work ethic is to be admired.
Tamara is the ultimate dog person! She has worked in rescue for many years and loves every dog she has ever met. She has also fostered countless dogs. In fact I have adopted two of them. She would be and is an amazing dog sitter. I would leave all of my five dogs with her and know they would be in better hands than mine.

There is a dog park as well as walking and hiking trails very close by and watering holes for them to cool off on a hot summer's day. I am happy to meet your dog's specific needs and match their energy level.
