I have been both a cat and dog owner, lover, and walker all of my life. I grew up with cats and had one of my own for eleven years before he passed on. Recently, I lost a dog I adopted a few years ago to epilepsy which she was ultimately not able to overcome. Having had pets in my home for most of my life, I am looking for opportunities to take care of them. I am fortunate in that I freelance which makes me more available to sit or walk pets than others. I also live in the Brooklyn Brownstone area which, between parks, tree-lined streets etc., --is home to one of the most animal-friendly neighborhoods you can find. I have no pets at home, which allows me to lavish attention on yours.
