I love animals. Growing up, I always wanted to volunteer at the animal shelter; they were my little buddies. I got to know the dogs and their personalities and had a blast showing them a good time. I'm good with cats also; I have one of my own. Big dogs or small, they're all like puppies in my heart and I love seeing that spark in them. I've been on and off Rover but it's always been a lot of fun! Whether it be playing Frisbee with dogs, taking them to a nearby dog park, exploring the surrounding neighborhood, or just snuggling at home! I love having fur buddies that I can create memories with. I love learning each ones personality and feeling like I'm adding to their happiness. There's nothing like it :)

I'm usually spending all my time with the fur babes (playing, cuddling, etc.) so there aren't really opportunities for them to get into trouble. I've had a cat in the past who loved to dart out the door when you leave, so I'm just naturally accustomed to checking for that as I leave rooms with animals. I'm very conscious of pets' safety - even once at a party I left to search for the escaped dog because people were leaving the door open! I found him soon after, but I bring that up as an example of how seriously I take safety even for pets that aren't mine. I've also potty trained puppies in the past, so I'm used to keeping a close eye on them. I'm very open and communicative so if there's something special to watch out for with your pet just let me know!

Any behavioral concerns, special diet/feeding or medications, injuries or health conditions. It's also nice to know a little about them, what they like, what their fav toys and treats are but that's less important than the first things I mentioned. It helps a ton knowing their temperament around other dogs/people. Also if there's ongoing training (like sitting for doors or to cross the street) that's important for me so I can make sure they're continuing those habits.
A typical day
Definitely playing with their toys and giving them all the love!! It all depends on your instruction if there's a certain area on the property or neighborhood where they like to go. Or places to avoid! I usually like to take them on walks around the neighborhood giving them plenty of chances to smell all the things. It's always nice when there's a park nearby especially if they're allowed at dog parks :)

I have a cat of my own, so every day consists of our routine. I'm currently working from home though, so I have a lot of free time to look after your dog or cat.
