Pet care experience
One of my life’s passions is working with animals of all shapes and sizes. During my time at Binghamton University, I volunteered with a vast array of animals through two clubs: Project Paw and Pre-Veterinary Society. I also worked as a Veterinary Receptionist for half a year (Pre Covid!). Because of these amazing opportunities, I have experience with animals ranging from bunnies and cats to horses and alpacas. I’m Cat and Dog First Aid Certified by the RedCross and have worked with walking and watching dogs in the past. I have cared for my own animals and house sat for friends pets since I was in high school, and lived with and cared for my roommates animals in college! Additionally, I currently have a Siberian Husky and a kitten. I also have had 2 dogs and 3 birds growing up! I look forward to meeting your best buddies! (And you, of course!)

Talia is the most reliable sitter I've ever worked with. Always on time (usually early), gets along very well with all of my pets, and truly enjoys working with them (so do they)! Would recommend her to anyone!
Talia has a special place in her heart for animals. Not only is she loving & caring for them but she can anticipate their needs. She has taken care of my pets for over 4 years and she is the only person I trust to look after my fur babies! I can’t recommend her enough!

I know what it is like to worry about someone else taking care of your animal. It is a hard thing to do. But, I would never do anything to put your pet in danger. It is second nature for me to hold the leash tightly and stay away from busy roads, and close the door quickly behind me! I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and giving plenty of treats and scratches so I can become BFFs with your pet.

If you feel like your pet resource guards food or can be aggressive let me know what tips/tricks you have so we can work around it. ex: putting the food down and leaving the room, having the harness on before I get there, etc!
A typical day
I have a cat and a husky, so I have plenty of experience with animals that range from low energy to very high energy! I love to play with dogs in the yard and/or burn them out with a long walk. I also love cuddling up with a cat (or watching them from a distance, whatever their preference is :) ).

I am currently working part-time, so usually weekends are optimal for me to come by. That being said, I keep up with my calendar, so if my availability differs that week you can check my calendar to see if I am free!
