He is often with me because he is so mellow-mannered and friendly with all dogs, though I can leave him with friends when needed. ✂️ Available upon request for dog grooming support including bathing, haircuts and nail trims! I also cook homemade (limited-ingredient, human-grade) dog food available for purchase 🥘

Talia did an excellent job caring for our pup, Russet, while we were out of the country for two weeks. It was our first time leaving him for this long and she made us feel at ease. He had a great time and will definitely be back to her place next time we travel.

My goal is to replicate your pets’ regular routine and environment as much as possible, so they are comfortable while you’re away! (I even use stopwatches to keep track of walks and time apart.) I plan for hours of “active time” each day when housesitting or boarding dogs — which may include playing/toys, practicing training/commands, yard time, walking, dog parks (only upon request), really good belly rubs, etc. Expect lots of photos :)

Would love to learn as much as possible about your pet(s) before we meet! Accepting fully-vaccinated dogs for day care and boarding. Let me know any care preferences, expectations for exercise or routines, food allergies or medications needed, favorite toys or treats, common or reactive behaviors, areas for learning, training goals, etc. I am currently working weekly with a few regulars (mostly 40-99lb) puppies on improving behaviors like leash pulling, foraging, jumping, etc.
A typical day
I live in a mother-in-law studio with a private, fully-fenced yard, in a nice and walkable neighborhood. I love working with pet owners to reinforce good behaviors and understand how to make sure their pets feel comfortable wherever they are with me. Good communication and cute photos are important, too! I really enjoy exploring neighborhoods on foot and look forward to walking your dog. I generally avoid other dogs, dog parks, and other people on walks, just to be safe. Some of my favorite Seattle parks are Kinnear Park, Olympic Sculpture Park, and Volunteer Park.

Availability
Currently working part-time from home (fully-remote). So I have a pretty flexible schedule and am happy to help with day care, one-time or weekly dog walks, in-home drop-in visits and overnight stays as needed. Please message me for last-minute requests, I can usually accommodate!
