Pet care experience
I am originally from Roanoke, Virginia. I grew up with a very loyal Springer Spaniel. My wife and I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pitbull mix and a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix that lived to the happy old ages of 13 and 16 years old respectively. We lived and worked at a non-profit dog rescue in Eugene, Oregon where we cared for all kinds of dogs and puppies, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. Some of these dogs were dealing with some pretty hefty allergy and/or anxiety projects. I am a young at heart, athletic and energetic college graduate. My wife and I have a holistic wellness practice where we receive human clients, as well as animals. All of my work with dogs includes this service when appropriate. We currently live in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai'i.

Tait and Amy were great. They asked lots of good questions during our meet and greet. We came home to happy dogs and the house just as we left it. We would definitely use them again.
Tait and his partner Amy have taken care of my two very high maintenance dogs for a while now: one is a 140 pound Great Dane who is still a big puppy and the other is a rescue pit that suffers from skin and food allergies. Despite being two adorable handfulls, I never have to worry about leaving my loves with them. They are great about giving my pit medicine, bi-weekly baths and dealing with her flare-ups like pros. They regularly update me with pictures and texts and bring my puppies on adventures hiking and to the dog park. Most importantly, they both LOVE animals - I love seeing their faces light up when they see my big goofs and my pups' tails go wild when they walk in the door. I have left my pups with these beautiful people for shorter trips (a few days) and much longer ones (5 weeks) and I never once worried about my dogs...I always come back to happy and healthy dogs. I am so grateful Tait and Amy have become a part of our cooky family!
Tait has cared for our 2 labradoodles and for our home many, many times over the last few years when we leave town. The care he provides is consistently reliable. He is an exceptional person with high integrity and a deeply compassionate heart. He has also come in very handy for other needed help around our property. We love having him around and always feel at ease knowing he is taking care of things when we are away.

A typical day
Your pet will have opportunities for both physical and mental stimulation. We can go for long exercise walks or we can meander through the neighborhood taking in all of the fresh sniffs. Like to chase the ball? I like to throw the ball! Need some relaxing and rejuvenating energy harmonizing sessions? We can do that, too.
