Hi!! Our names are Taija and Nick. We have a beautiful labrador retriever, Brody, and a sweet chihuahua and pekinese mix, Rocco, that we adore. We truly treat out dogs like children and we understand that you may want he same treatment for your fur babies. We treat all of our rover pets with the same care and compassion that we would expect our dogs to receive. We have experience with puppies and older dogs. We are comfortable with small-extra large fur babies. We also have experience with giving dogs oral medication (pill, chewy and liquid). We are both lifelong pet owners, Taija is a mental health therapist with a certificate in animal assisted social work and she worked at a vet office for a year. Nick is a lifelong dog lover. We LOVE all animals so if there are any other animals in your home that you may need cared for this could be worked out. If you would like your dog to go in a adventure outside of your neighborhood please let us know. We also do longer hiking trips in the mountains upon request and additional fee. Special skills: We love long walks, hiking trips, dog park trips and trips to the lake. We can play fetch for hours and Nick always wins at tug-a-war.

Taija and I were roommates for 10 years and she was the owner of two beautiful Labrador's. She rescued her babies and trained them to be loving, gentle dogs. She took them to obedience training, spent endless time with them at home with trainings. She often took them on walks and hikes and made sure they were up to date at the vet and always healthy. Ms. Thomas took great care of her own dogs. She also puppy sat for her friends when they went out of town on several occasions. I can assure that Ms. Thomas will take amazing care of your animals and their needs.
Taija has taken great care of both my labs on multiple occasions. I’ve always been more than satisfied with the care she gives them, both of my fur baby’s love her!
I highly recommend Taija to be a dog caregiver. She is already a fur mom to two very happy, and healthy Labrador retrievers, and spoils them so. She also encouraged me, and many others, to adopt not shop—and now I am also a fur momma. Taija offered lots of help to me to help me train my new puppy and had often dog sat for me. I strongly believe Taija would be the perfect candidate for this position and I know she would enjoy nothing more than spending her day taking care of other people bundles of fur!

A typical day
We love to play fetch, take long walks, chill in the backyard or cuddle on the couch. We have attended many behavioral classes and can also work on training your dogs upon request and additional fee.

Availability
While Nicks schedule has changed making him less available, Taija is currently working from home full-time and more available than ever. Since Taija works from home she is able to work from your house and stay with your dog throughout the day upon request and additional fee.
