Pet care experience
I've always had a minimum of two dogs in my home, typically 1-3 cats, and I love to play with the animals. I've raised at least 40 puppies (we used to breed my Pomeranians), and I trained them and took them to the dog park and I miss being around so many furry friends. I only have one dog and one cat right now, both are super loving and good with other animals, but I would love to spend more time with other furry friends when I can. I'm home all day and spend a lot of time at animal shelters and I love to take my dog to the park and play outside, i'd love to explore with a new furry friend. I've also spent a lot of time with cats, i've raised probably 30-40 kittens from when my cats were outdoor cats. Sadly they have passed away, but my love for animals stuck with me and i'd love to meet yours!

Taija was awesome! I know that Lola doesn't have the best manners, but Taija did great with her :) She was super responsive and kept me updated all weekend.

Taija was such a great pet sitter for my 1yr old Siamese. She was very accommodating and understandable. I had no worries leaving my baby with her for 5 days.
Taija usually babysits my daughters, but there have been a couple of times when I asked her to watch my dog while I was out of town and she did a great job. She took her out on walks, made sure to clean her crate if she made a mess (she's a little older), and made sure to follow her eating schedule closely. Definitely one of my favorite sitters.

Information Taija P. would like to know about your pet
I don't have breed preferences, but I would like to know about the dogs history with aggression with other animals so I know if I need to keep them separated. I'd also like to know if the dog has any health issues, or things that the dog really likes or really doesn't like so we can develop a good relationship. Some pets have really strong personalities, so I'd like to be able to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. This is the same for cats.
A typical day
I love going on walks, running, going on local trails and visiting local parks and dog parks. I love to play catch and train dogs as well. Depending on the day and the weather we might go to a park where there's water to play, or if it's cooler go for a run. When it's rainy I still walk the dogs, but I try to have playtime inside with tug-of-war and belly-rubs.
