I am a fun-loving, outdoor enthusiast with a soft spot for all animals. As a aspiring wildlife biologist, I work seasonally and have decided to wait until I am in my forever home to give a pet a forever home. Because of this, I greatly enjoy pet-sitting for others. I am a responsible and kind-hearted individual that would do a great job caring for your pet. Growing up, we always had both dogs and cats (and even a few other odd pets). Additionally, I have had multiple roommates with pets that I often times took care of as much as their owners did. This included walks, vet appointments, grooming and, of course, daily food and water. I was also fortunate enough to spend some time as a veterinary technician, where I came across all different sizes of cats and dogs with all different temperaments. This taught me a lot about animal health care and how to handle all different animal and pet owner personalities. In past pet-sitting jobs, I have done a good job reinforcing training tactics (per owner’s request), taking pets on walks and giving pets plenty of attention. I have also watched large and small dogs that ranged in age and energy level.
