Pet care experience
While working as a dog handler for 3 years I completed several training courses including dog language and dog play, along with other sessions such as understanding breed temperaments, how to dissolve conflict, and capitalizing on critical periods for dogs. I have also amounted extensive hours in dog play rooms with dogs of all sizes.

I asked Taden to cat sit Nugget over a weekend and he was fantastic! He kept Nugget’s essentials in check (clean water, tidy litter box) and he also made sure Nugget got his playtime fix. Taden’s updates were great, complete with adorable playtime videos. Nugget clearly had a blast and I came home to a happy kitter. Taden’s responsive, caring, and great with pets. Taden is wonderful with dogs! I have two: a chocolate lab and a corgi, and he is just wonderful with both of them. He is loving to all kinds of dogs no matter the breed or size, and is adept when handling multiple dogs at once as well. He is perfect!

It’s important to know if they are reactive to humans or other animals. I would also appreciate knowing if there have been an incidents in the past regarding aggression, how they respond to a busy city street, and if they are accustomed to harness walking.
A typical day
I find it very important to provide dogs with a healthy mix of physical activity and mental stimulation. I’d be happy to reinforce commands, attempt to establish focus, and play with any toys they normally use.

I’m currently a grad student so I can provide walks and other services from Friday to Sunday. There may be times I can walk during the week if my class schedule allows it.
