I am a major animal person! I’ve always had lots of pets—about 4 cats and 3 dogs for most of my childhood, with an assortment of mice, rats, snakes, squirrels (really! They needed to be rehabilitated 😊)—and I’ve had a little experience with chinchillas and horses, to name a few! I’ve volunteered at many animal shelters or care-facilities throughout my life, and currently I have two cats and was living with my parents and their/our senior rescue dog last year. I’m looking to make a little extra money currently as I am finishing my PhD in clinical child psychology, and I love to get the chance to meet new animal friends while doing so. I am comfortable giving medications orally and injected and subcutaneous fluids (one of my cats was very ill for several years and at the end of his life needed 11 pills a day and subq fluids, and I had a client last year who I helped to give her cat subq fluids a few times a week), walking dogs, playing with and entertaining animals, making sure they are happy and safe, and checking on your home if needed. I’ve worked as a pet sitter, dog walker and house sitter in the past for side money, and I am a trustworthy and reliable person. I am also treating the current COVID-19 pandemic seriously and will take all appropriate precautions to ensure our safety. I am fully vaccinated and boosted and will follow whatever procedures necessary to ensure your comfort.
