I have personal experience with the following: - training reactive dogs - behavior modification - positive reinforcement training, clicker training - crate training - task training to assist with disabilities - senior dog care, including administering medicine and eye drops - special nutrition and dietary needs - canine enrichment - breed-specific enrichment Also raw & home cooked diet friendly if preferred (clients must supply their own food). I have 3 dogs, all trained from scratch by me. Their current ages are: 6 years old, 9 years old and 14 years old. The first two are bigger breeds (60 and 50 lbs respectively) and the last old man is a toy breed. So as you see, I have experience and knowledge about how to adequately care for dogs all sizes and ensure that all of them are safe and comfortable.

My Paulain is always happy in her care. She will always be my go to caregiver when I go on business trips, etc.
I was very nervous about leaving Paulain with Sylwia initially since she has 3 dogs and 2 cats but my fears were put at ease very quickly. Paulain got along great with her pets and I received many photo and video updates. Paulain was very happy and well cared for. I now know that anytime I have to go out of town, my Paulain is in good hands. I plan on leaving Paulain with Sylwia every time I need to leave Paulain.
Sylwia is one of those people who LOVES animals. It could be said she loves them more than people. Anytime any sort of animal, dog, cat, bird, or anything other fuzzy little creature comes around her she lights up and wants to give it all the love an affection she possibly can. If you want someone who cares about animals on your side, look no further.

I have a decent size fenced backyard that is completely dog proof and doesn't contain any plants that could be harmful to your pup. My house has 3 bedrooms and 2 living areas, which are separated from one another, so there is plenty of space for them to have a room to themselves if that is what they need. My other 3 dogs are friendly and non-aggressive. I do safe introductions and decide whether to allow the dogs to play together first. My big dogs are also muzzle trained in case there is ever a doubt (My small one isn't because he doesn't have any teeth, lol). I also have cats, which stay completely out of your dogs' way. That being said, if your dog has a history of attacking cats unprovoked, you should probably look for a completely cat-free home.

Important: I have both dogs and cats in my house. Your dog must be okay with other dogs and cats in order for everyone to have a good experience. You're welcome to have a free meet and greet before booking to ensure your dog does well with my pets, especially the cats. I'll also need to know the breeds , age, sex, yours and dog's preferences, favorite snacks, what kind of commands they know, how they react to other dogs and strangers, how often they go outside, as well how much exercise the dog usually gets.
A typical day
Half my kitchen drawers are chock full of dog toys, tennis balls, food puzzles, licki mats, sniffle mats and tug ropes. We play, train new fun tricks to stimulate the dog mentally using positive reinforcement (which makes it fun!), go on walks in the neighborhood and drive to nearby parks where your dog can sniff all the spots. I understand the need of the dog to sniff their heart out, so I don't rush unnecessarily for them to move from that one interesting spot. This results in a very relaxed dog. I find that after you've let your dog sniff an adequate number of spots, then eventually get satisfied and that's when you can do a more fast paced walk with them so that they get their exercise in! I also have some home agility equipment and find that certain dogs really enjoy training around the obstacles. My very friendly and playful dog Sprinkles is a wonderful playmate for dogs who love to play. She also understands boundaries, and will not bother a dog that isn't feeling it. Every dog that comes here instantly becomes her best friend and they end up doing most things together. I call it "Boarding with Sprinkles" because I'm pretty sure she's the main attraction! My 2 other doggos are also very friendly but less playful. Sprinkles is a wonderful host who loves to romp, walk, share her toys, snacks and favorite napping spots with every dog guest.

Availability
I work remotely from home. The nature of my work is such that I am able to take plenty of breaks to go for short walks during the day, training sessions, petting and cuddling, and of course feeding the dog, including enrichment. I do not walk dogs during the day in the heat of the summer due to the risk of heat stroke and damage to their paw pads on the hot outside surfaces, especially when it comes to very old and very young dogs. I have a decent size fenced backyard, where the dogs are allowed to go any number of times they want to and go potty there, so even though they may not go for walks during the day, they do get to go outside and do whatever they want in the grass. I never leave your dogs unattended in the backyard of course.
