Pet care experience
Since I was young I have had a love for dogs of all sizes. As a child my family had a lab and a bichon, and now that I am an adult my husband and I have a golden retriever and a Labrador retriever. I regularly take care of friend’s and family’s dogs including corgis, heelers, and retrievers. I love being with all dogs and helping them be happy, may that be through walks, play time, or even baking home made organic treats! Through the training of my own dogs I have developed an appreciation for positive socialisation experiences for dogs and would love the opportunity to create new adventures with your furry friend!

A fantastic experience for us and our dog Marlee. Sylvie was responsive in a very quick timeframe. The entire experience was much more than expected. This was the first time boarding Marlee, beside the usual kennel boarding. And Marlee loved it! Pix and videos confirmed it. And we were immediately comfortable leaving Marlee in Sylvie’s capable hands. We will use Sylvie again and would highly recommend her services without a moments hesitation. 5 stars aren’t enough!! We had a great experience leaving our dog with Sylvie. She was very kind and responsive. She clearly loves dogs, as she has two sweet dogs of her own. We could tell by all of the wonderful pictures and videos she sent that our dog was having a great time at her house. I would highly recommend Sylvie to anyone looking for an excellent dog sitter. Sylvie has taken care of my charcoal lab many times, and every time I knew my pup was in loving and caring hands! Sylvie always took amazing care of my girl, and took her on multiple walks and outings to help get her energy out. I have always been very particular about who can watch my pup, but I am incredibly comfortable having Sylvie watch her anytime! She took my pup in and treated her like her own, and that is more than I could have asked from a pet caregiver! I would highly recommend Sylvie to anyone looking for a pet caregiver!

We are lucky to have an acre in Deschutes River Woods where we let the dogs explore new sounds, smells, and experiences in a partially fenced yard. When we don’t go for walks, we ensure the dogs are engaged with games and activities that allow for them to sleep well through the night.

A typical day
I love to spend time with dogs outside when possible. Whether playing fetch or hiking through Good Dog! Park, having a chance to challenge the dogs physically and mentally is essential.

Availability
I work full time, if they are comfortable with their own space during the day they will receive loads of attention, walks, and care outside of traditional work hours. Additionally, I have the ability to work remote some days of the week. On those days I like to take screen breaks by walking the dogs and getting fresh air.
