Pet care experience
I have two dogs of my own that I rescued. One is a pitty mix and the other is a shepherd mix. They are both very different, one is anxious and timid but a huge cuddler. The other is full of energy and so unbelievably friendly to all animals and people. With both, different approaches are required, so I would say I am pretty well rounded dog mom :) We love going on trips to Dutch Bros, where we get puppacinos, we also enjoy the off leash dog park and neighborhood walks, but we don't complain about watching the squirrels in the backyard either. In the evenings and on the weekends, our adventures take us to breweries and the mountains. Any doggo is welcome to join us on these adventures! :)

Not a very understanding sitter and expectations are that your dog is perfectly trained and will stay out of their way and not bother them at all. I had to ask for pictures and updates. I was updated more on the sitters sleep and comfort than I was on my dog. We had recently gotten our dog from the shelter and Sylvia was fully aware of that. When we got back she just unloaded complaints about our dog on us. Genuinely felt like she and her boyfriend hated our dog. Would not recommend. They did keep him safe.
Piper loved her snuggle time and daily trips to the park! Thanks for taking great care of our girl!
Our dogs came back so happy from their stay with Sylvia and Dan. All the pictures during their trip let us know they were having a great time!
Really great experience with Sylvia and Dan. I did a test run with them, and felt like they kept me informed of how Hudson was doing. The home is wonderful between the other dogs and the yard, and I felt like both of them asked great questions about how best to care for Hudson.

I have a fenced yard, an accessible doggie door, and two pups to keep yours company. We usually get a 40 min to an hour park trip or 2 thirty minute walks a day.

We cannot sit any small dogs unless they are trained to use the doggie door. Pee pads will not be a solution for us because we find most dogs find ways around that. We almost cannot sit any dogs that are big barkers. Our neighbors and ourselves have lost much sleep due to persistent barking and noise.
A typical day
We usually go to the Westminster hills off leash park. Since it is 400 acres of open land we prefer to sit dogs that are good on recall. We also do frequent walks and we do not have much tolerance for pullers.

Availability
I work fully remote at home however do have a client facing role so I am in meetings through the day. We have a dog door that is always available so they can let themselves out.
