I have been taking care of dogs since elementary school. My family members would leave their pets in my care when they would travel, and at the end of the week, I never wanted to give the dog back. They became one of my own without me even trying. Those dogs were easy though, so my skills weren't challenged until I got my own dog in the 5th grade. I was starting from scratch with a new Australian Shepherd- Blue Heeler puppy, named Ranger! Though he was crazy and stubborn, I strived to be the best dog mom and raise him in the best way possible! I did this through basic training and giving him all of my love, as well as lots and lots of belly rubs!
