Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Sydney and I am a para educator and grad student looking to stay active and busy. I have cared for all sizes of dogs my whole life. I have plenty of experience with high energy dogs to dogs who need extra love and support. My hours are pretty flexible during these summer months and am willing to travel. Along with drop-in visits, over nights, and dog walking, I can provide some grooming or any other task you may need. I also have experience taking care of other animals such as cats, fish, lizards, and turtles. I guarantee the highest quality of service as I will take care of your pups/cats as if they were my own. Sydney was fantastic - strong communicator and totally put us at ease! We knew our dogs were in great hands with her.
We had Sydney house sit for our 9 month old puppy Marla. This was our first time leaving Marla for more than just a few hours so we were nervous with how she would do. Sydney kept us updated each day with how it went and sent pictures and video. We had been teaching Marla how to swim and getting her used to the pool but she was still very hesitant when we left on Friday and would only go in when we picked her up and put her in. By the time we got home on Sunday she was lounging on the pool stairs and jumping in after her tennis balls all on her own. Sydney kept her active and entertained all weekend and we are so happy to have someone who took such good care of our girl.
Sydney was great! Responsible, punctual and flexible. Highly recommend.

I am open to any breed and size of dog. I would personally like to know their temperament, how they act around other dogs, If any further training is needed, if any sort of medication needs to be taken, and if I should keep an eye out for any sort of medical conditions. I can handle dogs who can be aggressive and dogs who have separation anxiety.
A typical day
I love to explore and hopefully your pup does too! I can do neighborhood walks or find cool trails to go to. I am an avid biker so If your dog is high energy I’d love to take them along!
