Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Sydney! I research geology and biology as a graduate student. My work in these fields is all due to being constantly exposed to animals at a young age. I've never not had a pet with me, and I believe in their fundamental rights including exceptional care. I've owned or been a part of households with large dogs, small dogs (Golden Retriever, Cattle Dog, Shih Tzh/Brussels Griffon Mix, Papillon/Border Collie Mix), cats, freshwater fish, birds (finches, a dove), aquatic turtles, a hamster, bunny, lizard, insects, and hermit crabs. My partner and I are parents to two orange kitties, a dove, and fish. I'd love to give your pet of any kind the love he or she needs while you're away.

Sydney has been so amazing with our golden retriever! I feel great knowing he is in good hands and enjoying his walks with her. I always get picture updates and thorough descriptions of the walks. She is so responsible and so helpful to our family! Highly recommend Sydney.

I have very little exposure to people since I am 50% work from home and 50% in a solarity office so I am very unlikely to transmit anything into your home! I keep your home safe by locking doors during visits.
Information Sydney S. would like to know about your pet
I am experienced in administering oral and topical medicine to dogs and cats and have to do so regularly for my own. Let me know about your pet's health ahead of time so that I can give them the best care! I would also like to know their leash tendencies ahead of time; I love large dogs (>80 lbs), but can only walk them if they don't tug too much since I'm 5 feet tall! No breed preferences. I am very sensitive to different cat & dog and needs and have sat all kinds of personalities. Looking forward to meeting your fur baby soon!
A typical day
I would love to take your dog to a dog park if he/she is sociable in addition to walks. Tug of war is a favorite game of mine--your dog will probably win! I would absolutely love cuddling with your kitty and getting to know them, too! I am very sensitive to different cat & dog personalities and am very accommodating.
