Pet care experience
In March 2020, I brought home my very best friend in the world: a golden retriever named Lulu. She’s taught me patience, playfulness and the importance of taking care of yourself and others. I am certified in dog and cat CPR and first aid and have cared for pets with special needs. I’ve also been dog sitting for two years, caring for pets of friends and family as well as “strangers,” although these have turned into new friends! I’ve also been dog walking for about nine months now serving the greater Richmond area. I’ve also taken a recent interest in grooming and plan to teach myself to properly bathe and five dogs haircuts.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Sydney! I am a traveling nurse who was new to the Richmond area, and I always get nervous about finding quality pet care for my two dachshunds. Sydney was very flexible in her ability to come let my boys out, and always sent me amazing pictures during her time spent with them. The boys loved spending time with her. I felt that she was willing and available to let the boys out even on short notice. I also used Sydney for some day visits as well as overnight stays for a week during my family vacation. She is actually the first person I have trusted to watch my babies overnight outside of my family! I am so grateful to have found Sydney for my pet care needs, and definitely recommend her 10/10! Thank you, Sydney :)

I work from home, so I have lots of flexibility to take pups out, let them play, or go on walks. My schedule is pretty variable from day to day.
