Pet care experience
I’ve been working with animals all my life. I have experience with farm animals, dogs, cats, and birds. My first job was at a dog boarding shelter when I was 14. I was required to do the basic things such as feeding, washing, playing with, and walking the dogs. I have a 15yr old and a 3yr old dog in my household. I am very well acquainted with senior dogs as well as puppies! My older dog takes medications and gets shots so I’m comfortable with all of that.

10/10 experience! Sydney stayed with our two dogs for 11 days and we weren’t worried a bit. We got so many updates and cute photos of our pups! We came back to two very happy doggies. She responds quickly and is very kind.

When I’m dog sitting I usually tend to stay in the clients home overnight and during the day as well. It comforts the animals more when they’re in their safe space while their parents are away. In that way they feel more at ease with someone new and can find comfort while someone stays with them. Of course we will go on walks and have playtime with their toys that they love. I always send photos every day of the pets to their owners to assure that I’m taking great care and loving your pet just as much as you do. Sending photos can ease the owners into trusting their pets are with someone who is trustworthy and reliable.

A typical day
I always take my dogs to the dog park called Hollins Head. It’s an amazing park for the dogs to run and play fetch all day. But we also play fetch in the backyard and that works just as well.

I work at a local brewery in Bend and I only work 4-6 hours a day so I will have the time to attend to your pets needs.
