Pet care experience
Although family allergies prevented me from having a dog of my own, I have sought out ways to get my puppy fix as a petsitter for years. I have taken care of dogs large and small and of varying activity levels-- even ones that required a two mile run each day! I'm happy to adapt my walk route and style to whatever will best suit your pet's size, age, and personality. There are so many great parks, trails, and spaces for dog walking in Boston and I can't wait to take your pup to explore them! I'm a full time student, so I have 1-2 hour breaks of availability between classes as well as extended times on nights and weekends. During the day I'm centered around BU area, but I'm more flexible with location at night.

Sydney is my go-to dog sitter, is incredibly responsible and accommodating, and is so good with my dogs! She was familiar with short-nosed dogs and handled the walk and playtime (and snuggling!) with my rambunctious pug with ease. She has also taken care of my brother's obese (120 pound) lab mix, Tia, who absolutely adored her. She's taken care of Tia about a dozen times, and I have never seen Tia's tail wag so much after she saw Sydney the second time. I would absolutely trust Sydney with any of my pets.
Sydney is a close friend who I have known for many years. She often comes over to play with my dog and has taken care of my dog when I have gone out of town. My dog loves her!

I would like to know the dog's size, age, and temperament. I'd love to walk dogs of all breeds, but I am 5'1" so extremely large dogs (150+ lbs) might be out of the question for me. I have a real soft spot for smushy-face dogs (Frenchies, pugs, bulldogs) but I truly love them all.
A typical day
I love walking along the Esplanade trails, the Boston Common, Brookline parks, and around Boston University. Your dog can expect a walk suited to his or her comfort level and I'm happy to bring along a toy for novelty.
