Pet care experience
I have had pets for my whole life, and I have helped to pet sit my family member's animals (dogs, cats and birds) as well. I love spending time with dogs and I'd much rather be with them over people. I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and am currently an Emergency Room social worker at a children's hospital downtown. I am also an active volunteer at the Lincoln Park Zoo. I have volunteered with Alive Animal Rescue in the past as well. I love spending time with animals, and I would love to meet your pup! I have a rambunctious and sweet 5 year old Great Pyrenees mix named Miso. She is quite a handful sometimes! I also have two cats named Beignet and Posty. They are constantly getting into trouble! Send me a message if you need me for a walk, sitting or boarding! I will try to be as flexible as possible!

Sydney is just amazing with my reactive dog, Lucy! She clearly has a lot of great experience walking all sorts of dogs. Lucy instantly loved Sydney and was super comfortable around her. Sydney is a great communicator and getting things all set up was super easy. Will be using Sydney again soon!!
Sydney was great! My dog stayed with her for about 5 days. Sydney sent me daily updates and my dog was happy and well-cared for when I picked her up. Sydney was quick to respond to any messages and understanding and flexible when my flight home got delayed. I would board my dog with Sydney any time and recommend her highly.
Sydney and her partner did an amazing job with Anansi!!! Right from the meet and greet I could tell Anansi was comfortable and felt at home. Sydney makes sure to stay in frequent contact and I got a bunch of great pictures and videos of Anansi. Their dog Miso is very sweet and the two dogs got along really well. 10/10 service and will book again when the need comes up! Thank you!
Sydney was a great sitter and took such good care of our pup! She made sure to send us updates along with pictures and constantly spoiled our fur baby! He loved playing with her dog, Miso, and can’t wait to see them again :)

A typical day
We live right on Lake Michigan and there are tons of walking trails up and down the lakefront. We live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood and there are always perks to walking around this neighborhood with pups. I love to take my dog for a walk to get some ice cream or a coffee.

Availability
I work in an Emergency Room so I work three 12-hour shifts a week. On my days off I would love to be hanging out with more pets! For house sitting and boarding, I can usually offer breaks every 4-8 hours, more often depending on my schedule. For walks, the morning or afternoon time availability may be changed but I will let you know as soon as things are set!
