I'm a elementary teacher, so my availability during the summer is very open. I plan to be home full time most days but things do come up. If I need to be away I will always prioritize coming back to care for the pets.

I'm very comfortable with all dogs no matter the size or breed. I have handled a variety of dogs from timid to major explorers. Any instructions given to me I will happily follow. I have always had a easy time connecting with dogs! They are truly mans best friend and I understand just how much they mean to their families :)

A typical day
I love the outdoors so I am always ready to go for walks in the neighborhood or at a forest preserve etc. I also would be happy to throw a ball or toy around for some activity as well!

Pet care experience
I grew up with a sweet smooth collie and helped take care of her throughout my childhood. These days I take care of friends and families dogs while they go on vacation or just need a quick sitter for the day/night. I also have a pet chinchilla, Cheaches, that I take care of everyday :)

I appreciated Sydneys prompt response to my initial inquiry and questions/messages. She was flexible on short notice to come to meet us and do a drop in the next day. Followed all instructions (in my way too long note), checked in, sent pictures and all was well with my pup on return. Sydney is nice, mature and trustworthy. She is just starting out on Rover so for just figuring all that out — she was great. Sometimes I look for a lot of reviews but glad I gave Sydney a try for sure. Don’t hesitate — I recommend Sydney and I’ll book with her again!
Sydney is my go to for pet sitting & walking! Her love and care for pets is outstanding! She watches my Great Dane pup and is intentional, caring, responsible, and I feel at peace knowing my dog is in great hands! I always recommend her whether it’s for a dog walk, day visit, or overnight stay. She has experience with all size furries! So thankful for her!!
