As an animal rescue worker I have experience with almost any breed and temperament that you could imagine. I understand animals social needs and clues very well. This is a two person household so my significant other and I share responsibilities. Our work hours alternate so that let’s are not left unattended for more than a few hours at a time. He does work close to our home so he’s able to run home to accommodate more pick up and drops offs. We do have the ability to keep animals separated in my own home for overnight stays. For very active dogs I am willing to let them set the pace during walks if they need to expend any pent up energy. We also have a secure fenced yard for play time and expending energy at the dog’s own leisure. We do have dogs of my own to act as playmates for social dogs. They would of course always be supervised. Antisocial dogs can be kept separate from my personal dogs and can have their own quiet room to lounge in. The quiet room is kept empty and free of anything that could be hazardous to a dog or cat.
